BlazeSports Atlanta Jr. Wheelchair Hawks Basketball
BlazeSports America is one of the nation’s fastest growing and most successful youth wheelchair basketball programs. Our teams practice weekly from August to April competing in regional tournaments and the National Wheelchair Basketball Association Championships. Our new and improved program will include skills clinics, leadership training, academic support, strength and conditioning and guidance on healthy eating. Players learn fundamental skills, game related strategies and focus on the values of teamwork, respect and independence.
WHO: Youth ages 6 – 18 with a physical disability including amputation, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy and other related disabilities.
Prep: Ages 6-14 Varsity: Ages 15-18
WHEN: Saturdays, September 10, 2016 through April 2017
Varsity Team Practice: 9.30am-12pm, Prep Team Practice: 12pm-2pm

EQUIPMENT LOAN: Through the BlazeSports Equipment Lending Program new players who do not own their own basketball wheelchair can borrow a chair for the season. Players will be fitted on their 1st session.
