Swimming

BlazeSports Swimming is for kids ages 5 to 18 years old with physical disabilities, including spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, amputation, muscular dystrophy and visual impairments, who want to learn how to swim or looking to compete.   No experience is required to participate in the swim program. Our coaching staff and volunteers are trained to work with non-swimmers to athletes training for the Paralympics, like McClain Hermes, a member of the USA Paralympic Swim Team for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games!

In addition to practice, participants interested in competition will have an opportunity to compete with the BlazeSports Swim Team in local, regional and national swim meets.

Swim Coach Fred Lamback has more than 30 years of swim coaching experience. Coach Lamback will provide expert instruction in the four competitive strokes, flip turns, building your endurance and much more.
