Have you wanted to join a track team or try a new sport but didn’t think you could? Now is your chance!
A weekly track and field program for kids and teens ages 8 to 18 with a physical disability including spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, amputation, visual impairments and muscular dystrophy.
Athletes of all levels and abilities are welcome. BlazeSports Track and Field offers training and competitive events for athletes who are ambulatory and use a wheelchair. Come to have fun, keep fit, meet friends, or work towards a greater goal in Track and Field.
Equipment is provided, including track wheelchairs. New athletes will be fit for a chair during their first session. “Buddy Runners” are also provided for visually impaired athletes.
BlazeSports Track and Field incorporates the Atlanta Track Club’s Kilometer Kids program.
FALL SEASON 2016
When: Mondays, Sept 26-Dec 12, 6:30pm-8:00pm. No practice will be held on Oct 31; practice will be held on Wed Nov 2 instead.
