BlazeSports Sunday Funday Summer Bowling Series is back!
This program is open to youth and veterans with physical disabilities and their families. It is FREE to all participants, and we encourage parents and siblings to bowl, too!
***Please register the participant with the physical disability, and indicate in the comment box which dates you can attend along with the number of people in your group who will be bowling. This way, we can give an accurate number of bowlers to Stars & Strikes.
Dates: June 19, July 25 and August 7
Where: Stars & Strikes — 8767 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30350
Time: 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Shoe rental, soft drinks and popcorn are included during the hour and a half of bowling.
We are excited to offer two youth day camps this summer to kids with physical disabilities who are 7 to 17 years old!
One camp will be held in Kennesaw on July 14 and the second held in Decatur on July 28, both from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Our second Veteran Paralympic Soccer Camp registration is now OPEN! Click here for more information and to sign up!
The Summer 2016 Program Guide is filled with information about programs and sports offered at BlazeSports America for youth and veterans with physical disabilities.
We are still filled with joy following the 2016 BlazeSports All-Star Camp that was held last week, June 5 to 10.
A total of 30 campers traveled to Warm Springs, Georgia for a jam-packed week of fun activities. Campers participated in typical summer camp fun, like a climbing wall, kayaking and whizzing down a zip-line; but the BlazeSports All-Star Camp is special in that campers were able to participate in adaptive sports just for them.
Each camper was able to try swimming, track & field, wheelchair basketball and archery. There were many who were attending camp for the first time and now have a newfound interest in adaptive sports!
Check out our video slideshow below of some of the camp highlights!
We can’t wait until next year’s BlazeSports All-Star Camp!
