Athlete of the Month

Georgia Blazer BRYAN POWELL is our Athlete of the Month.

Bryan Powell is fourteen years old and has been a Georgia Blazer for the past 4 years playing on the wheelchair basketball team, wheelchair team handball and most recently track and field. Apart from being all around great athlete and student, Bryan’s recent claim to fame was the new national record holder for club throw at 15:44 meters at the National Junior Disability Championships held in Missouri this past July.

Bryan is an eighth grader at Simpson Middle School and lives in Cobb County, Georgia with his younger brother Andrew and parents.
