BlazeSports Jr. Hawks Bring Home 2nd Place Title

The BlazeSports Jr. Hawks battled through a tough weekend of top-10 ranked teams in Whitewater, WI to bring home a 2nd Place title.

Entering the tournament ranked 4th in the nation, the BlazeSports Jr. Hawks knew they would have to perform at their best to maintain their ranking and compete against teams including the Minnesota Timberwolves and TIRR.  The team kept fans on the edge of their seat with several close games and an overtime game in the first round of bracket play against TIRR from Houston.

Clenching the 2nd Place title and ending the tournament going 4-1 the team made huge improvements in communication, attitude, and teamwork, all of the things that embody a strong foundation for a successful team!  The BlazeSports Jr. Hawks are now 13-2 on the season and are headed to the Pioneer Classic at Lakeshore for conference games on January 16th.
