Blazers Continue to Set New National Records

Day 1

Saturday, July 6, was the first day in Rochester for our swimmers after many hours of traveling from Atlanta.  Despite the travel, there was no rest for them.  Coach Fred had Victoria, Maya, Trey and Andrew in the pool practicing for the long course races scheduled for Sunday.  They all practiced hard and pushed themselves to enhance their strokes to be sure that they would be ready for the upcoming races.  Sunday, all 4 Blazers competed in various long course events including the freestyle, backstroke, breast stroke and the butterfly.

Day 2

Sunday, July 7, offered the long course meet for NJDC swimmers.  It was a busy afternoon at the Rochester Swim Club with Blazers competing in 18 total swims.   All the Blazers did a great job in their events.  Trey Davis (Dalton, GA) set the stage by winning all six of his races. Official results by class have not been published but our Blazers’ times are posted below.
