BlazeSports Continues to Support Jordanian Partners

This month sees BlazeSports return to the City of Amman, Jordan to continue its multi-partner, USAID funded, sports project for those with physical disabilities. Over a two week period, from November 4th-18th, BlazeSports will deliver coach education practical and theory workshops covering areas of classification, adaptive sports techniques, boccia, athletics, wheelchair basketball, table tennis and soccer. In addition the candidates who attend these aforementioned courses will then have the opportunity to apply their newly acquired knowledge in a variety of hands-on practical settings.

As part of a sports development agreement all of BlazeSports in-country project partners, which include The Jordan National Paralympic Committee and The Jordan Football Association, will deliver sports initiatives and targeted clubs sessions throughout 2013, therefore allowing the level and quality of opportunities for those with physical disabilities to access sport to be increased.
