As we approach the Olympic and Paralympic Games in London this summer, over 15 U.S. cities are hosting Walk to London events. These events are designed to promote awareness of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the athletes that have represented the United States in those Games, and engage the communities in physical activity. One goal of the Walk to London events is to accumulate enough miles walked and wheeled among all the communities to represent the distance from Los Angeles to London. Both London and Los Angeles are two-time Olympic host cities with London soon to become the only city to host three Games.
Join us in Atlanta, June 23rd at Centennial Olympic Park from 12-4:00 p.m. as we celebrate the Games, Atlanta’s legacy as an Olympic and Paralympic host city and the Olympians and Paralympians that make their home in the Peach State.
