BlazeSports Complete CDSS Training at Slippery Rock University

BlazeSports Institute for Applied Science (BIAS) completed a
two-day Certified Disability Sport Specialist (CDSS) Training at Slippery Rock
University of Pennsylvania on Thursday that has resulted in 47 new recipients of the CDSS
credential.  Among the participants were Certified Athletic Trainers
(ATC), Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists (CTRS), professors and
students in physical education (PE), Adapted Physical Activity (APA), Sports
Medicine, and Therapeutic Recreation (TR).  With the CDSS credential, these
professionals and students have the ability to build capacity, spread
awareness, develop and enhance programs, and advocate on behalf of persons with
physical disability and disability sport programs.
