BlazeSports in Haiti on Exchange Project

BlazeSports is conducting a SportsUNITED project for the US State Department Bureau of Educational and Cultural Exchange in Haiti. The project involves the exchange of Haitian and American visitors. The project has been a major success thus far.  On  March 14, BlazeSports Haiti hosted a youth sports camp for young people with disabilities and emerging leaders.  It was a phenomenal success as our American athletes from Columbia University’s Women’s Soccer Team and emerging leaders shared their expertise and conducted sport skill sessions, swimming instruction, fitness activities, and after a very active day everyone enjoyed a traditional Haitian meal together.

On March 15, we continued hosting the youth sports camp and then visited a Haitian girls soccer club.  Our Division I soccer players from Columbia University conducted a training session with the Haitian girls. Click for photos…
