BlazeSports traveled to Carrollton, GA on Tuesday, October 18, to participate in the University of West Georgia’s Fifth Annual Disabilities Awareness Day. BlazeSports staff implemented a series of hands-on Paralympic sports sessions for the Physical Education majors at UWG.  Students had the opportunity to participate in wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball and goal ball.  Following the morning sports sessions, students participated in  a campus wide wheelchair rally where students are challenged to travel a designated route around campus in a wheelchair.

BlazeSports provided wheelchairs for students for a wheelchair rally, the final activity in the UWG Disabilities Awareness Day.
